"'Thin crust pizza? No thanks, I'm from Chicago." ― Julius Pepperwood, New Girl We ordered the 14" deep dish Buckingham Foundation (pepperoni, mushroom, onions, green peppers) on buttercrust. Eaten hot and fresh and this is like akin to a warm casserole-like pie with great ingredients and delicious flavors. We had leftovers the next day which really helps you form a solid opinion because the sauce settles and the flavors develop. The tomato sauce here is solid. Not too sweet, not to acidic. It's good eaten hot out of their oven or cold from your fridge Vero Chicago Pizza, I adore you. This is one of their quieter locations since they're in a sleepy plaza but don't let it fool you. It's a solid pizza spot."

"Absolutely delicious sandwich. Shame on me for not realizing that they aren’t open for dine in. Dine in is reserved for their dinner menu. Like anybody from Chicago, I ordered a Chicago beef sandwich, hot, sweet and wet. It is literally impossible to eat such a messy sandwich without sitting at a table. Fortunately, for me, the manager/owner took pity on me and took down the velvet rope to allow me to sit at their table. (Thank you). The sandwich was very expensive compared to most Chicago style Italian beef, but here’s the thing IT WAS WORTH IT. Great sandwich. Probably one of the best beef sandwiches you will find outside of Chicagoland. If you’re up for it, step up to their counter and order a beef, hot, sweet and wet. Then grab a large stack of napkins cause you are going to need them and enjoy your amazing sandwich. 1/13/25: update We returned for dinner. Again, simply amazing food. Fun dine in experience. And a super friendly and efficient waiter. This place is amazing."

The pizza had that perfect Chicago thin crust: crisp edges, flavorful sauce, and quality toppings. The pizza fritta was golden and cheesy, a great starter or side. The salad was fresh, crisp, and big enough for two. Great value, great flavor, and a chill neighborhood vibe. We’ll definitely be back."

"Great pizza but it's a VERY small place. Three tables, a bar, and a counter top. If you get one of the tables you'll be happy, because the pizza is great. We couldn't decide between a deep dish and a buttery pan, so we got both. The Miracle Mile is delicious."
